Install php 7.4 on cwp
-
@gpl-one ioncube is in beta you can install beta loader and use it.
-
Hello @Sandeep.
Do we know anything about ioncube for php 7.4? Now that WHMCS supports php 7.4, it would be interesting to have ioncube.
Greetings!
-
hi ioncube is already there for php 7.4
-
@sandeep Hello!
Do I have to do anything else to install it in PHP FPM?
I installed php fpm 7.4 but when I select the version for WHMCS, it tells me that ioncube needs to be installed.
Greetings!
-
hi see if ioncube loader is loaded via phpinfo or if not restart the php-fpm service, let me know if you found some error.
-
@sandeep It seems that it does not load, even in the loaded modules, it does not appear, in php 7.3 if it appears loaded ioncube, in 7.4 not:

@sandeep I do not know if it can serve for your research, but I have seen that the servers with centos 7 does not load ioncube in php 7.4, but the servers with centos 8 if they have ioncube loaded. Does this have anything to do? hahaha

probably you need to update ioncube via this command and reinstall php with ioncube selected.
sh /scripts/update_ioncube
-
@sandeep It seems to have worked, it already detects ioncube.
But if I select php 7.4 it shows this in the log:

try this

@sandeep It doesn't work, your command to update ioncube works, at that moment it starts to detect ioncube, but the web gives the error indicated above.
I located this when rebuilding php 7.4:

Is ioncube not really installed correctly?

@sandeep Hello!
I have tried on different servers with php 7.4 and have not been able to get WHMCS to work. If you can, do the test, download whmcs and install it on a CWP server with php 7.4. You will get the indicated errors.

you can open a ticket in support portal or send DM here with server details and domain name

@JosePP Did you manage to fix above mentioned WHMCS issue? I'm experiencing the exact same error when I'm accepting new order on WHM ticking Run Module Create.
